Sobri from Corporate Affairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The courtesy visit provided a valuable platform for representatives from both institutions to engage in an open and constructive exchange of perspectives. The session allowed both parties to gain a deeper understanding of their respective institutional roles, areas of expertise and contributions towards education, professional development and human capital advancement.<\/p>\n<p>As an agency under the <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia (KLN),<\/strong> IDFR plays an important role in supporting the professional development of government officers. Its work encompasses areas such as diplomatic training, language development and professional learning, contributing towards the continuous development of officers serving within Malaysia\u2019s public sector and international relations environment.<\/p>\n<p>During the engagement, representatives exchanged views on the evolving needs of today\u2019s workforce and the increasing importance of continuous learning in a rapidly changing professional environment. The discussion also highlighted the value of providing opportunities for individuals to continuously enhance their knowledge, competencies and professional capabilities throughout their careers.<\/p>\n<p>The session further provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on education and professional development, particularly in relation to the changing expectations placed on modern organisations and their workforce. As workplaces continue to evolve, educational institutions and professional organisations have an increasingly important role in supporting individuals with relevant knowledge and skills that can complement their professional experience.<\/p>\n<p>For Metropolitan College, engagement with government institutions forms part of its broader commitment to building stronger connections between education and the professional community. Such engagements provide opportunities for the College to better understand the public sector environment while sharing perspectives on the role that accessible and flexible education can play in supporting lifelong learning.<\/p>\n<p>Metropolitan College extends its sincere appreciation to <strong>IDFR and En.
